Natural Healthcare & Wellness Provision

Life is miserable if you are struggling with a physical or mental health condition and even worse if you have to deal with the side effects of medication.

In-depth support for acute or chronic emotional and physical conditions is available, to treat not only the expression of disease (the symptom), but to identify and treat the cause; offering a holistic and non judgemental approach to  wellness.

We love to see you in person – but if that isn’t possible, we are able to offer online telehealth appointments to fit in with your life and commitments

Identifying & Treating the Cause

Consultation

Your journey to better health starts with a friendly but full and in-depth consultation, where we find out about your symptoms, what the underlying cause might be and how we can help restore you to better health.

Herbal
Medicine

Herbal Medicine is extremely effective in the treatment of physical and emotional conditions – having been used for many hundreds of years to treat with a specific biochemical effect and also offer elemental and holistic properties

Iridology

The iris of the eye is an extension of the brain and linked to the Autonomic Nervous System.  Potential emotional and physical problems leave markers in the eye which Iridology uses to identify potential problems in tissues and organs

Live Blood
Analysis

Our lifestyle and health influences the heath of our blood.  Monitoring your blood is a great way to monitor health and one tiny drop, taken from your fingertip and viewed under a powerful microscope is all that is needed.

What conditions can we support?

Anxiety/Depression

Anxiety and depression are probably the most common conditions presented in our Natural Health Clinic; so it is not surprising that research shows approximately 1 in 4 people in the UK will experience one of these each year. (Spiers et al., 2016)

Blood Pressure

Blood pressure is recorded with two numbers.  The “systolic” (usually the higher number) and “diastolic” (lower number).  The systolic is the force at which blood is pumped around your body by the heart and the diastolic refers to the resistance to blood flow in the blood vessels.

COPD

An essential defence mechanism, the cough is designed to remove harmful particles from the body. But when our own defences are unable to resolve things and the problem continues, it may be time to get things checked out.

Gout

Gout is a condition that responds very well when supported by Herbal Medicine; gout sufferers who come to us for support often report relief of symptoms and reduction in attacks (please see our testimonials).

Menopause

The menopause signals the end of our reproductive years.  Sound depressing? It really doesn’t have to be, think of it as the start of the rest of your life.

Migraines

We will carefully consider a migraine sufferer’s whole physiology. This enables us to identify and treat underlying imbalances or vulnerabilities of the individual, which could be contributing to, or facilitating, a migraine attack.

Your Health, Your Choice

When I tell people that I am a Medical Herbalist, they are either intrigued and want to know more, or view me with extreme suspicion (possibly in case I cast a spell on them – not that I know any spells and if I did I would not know what to do with them!).

Why do we do consultations and case histories?

We are all unique, wonderful and beautiful individuals, with our own story and our own journey. Nothing happens by chance and everything in this universe is connected in some way. If you are feeling unwell, your symptoms did not appear out of thin air; indeed, your body has probably been adapting and trying to overcome adverse conditions for many months before the illness manifests. Symptoms are not isolated, but signify a pattern of dis-ease (as opposed to disease) within you.

Protection from Flu & Winter Virus

From the moment the children return to school in September, we start to see a steady increase in virus strains, such as flu, coughs and colds. Of course, we can’t blame the children – although places that contain lots of tiny humans are a bit of a breeding ground for germs, there are other reasons why viruses are so prevalent in the Autumn and early winter.
